Artist's Statement
I am drawn to the sky—its shifting light, its storms, its fleeting moments of color and motion. Using oil on canvas, I work to capture the vividness of these scenes and the emotional charge they carry.
Color is always my starting point. I photograph everyday moments that strike me with unexpected combinations of light, shadow, and atmosphere. These images become the foundation for my paintings, allowing me to reinterpret the energy that first caught my eye.
What compels me most is the sense of movement in the sky—the way sunlight, clouds, and shadows transform a single moment. Through saturated color and expressive brushwork, I aim to convey this motion and intensity, giving shape to something both ephemeral and deeply felt.
My work blends traditional oil painting with a contemporary focus on vibrant color and emotional resonance, creating images that invite viewers to pause inside a single captured moment.
