I am fascinated by the sky and sunlight, a vast and ever-changing canvas that captivates me with its cloud formations, setting suns, storms, and the sense of movement it conveys. Using oil on canvas, I strive to capture the vividness and saturation of these moments, translating what I see into paintings that resonate with color and emotion.
My creative process begins with color—it is the first element that draws me in. I take pictures everywhere, constantly photographing scenes that catch my eye. I love everyday moments that are made fascinating by color play.  These images serve as the foundation for my paintings, allowing me to revisit and interpret the interplay of light and color that originally inspired me.
What compels me most is the dynamic quality of the sky, sun and shadows—the movement and the fleeting feeling of a moment caught in time. My aim is to translate this energy and vibrancy through my brushstrokes, creating pieces that invite the viewer to experience the intensity and beauty of these natural phenomena.
Though my technique is grounded in traditional oil painting, what makes my work unique is the emphasis on saturated color and the way I seek to convey motion and emotion simultaneously. Each painting is an exploration of color’s power to evoke mood and to encapsulate the ephemeral while giving it a lasting presence on canvas.
